No, the war ran out before the Army could get past the road blocks of an ignorant Congress to mass produce it.
According to Hatcher's Notebook, the development of the device was kept very top secret. Requests for funding described it as a .30 caliber pistol. Congress balked when they said the .45 caliber pistol was better.
The parts did look like they would be some of a pistol assembly. And the cartridge it fired was never mass produced -- I think. Some have said it was resurrected to become the .30 caliber Carbine cartridge, but I don't know for sure.
Wouldn't be surprised though. Somebody, somewhere had the dies and it would have been a good round to build Williams' short stroke semi-auto carbine action around. After all, basically the device was to turn an 03 Springfield into a carbine-like sub-machinegun.
