I think the current situation in the middle east as well as history in general demonstrate that Arab states and nuclear weapons are simply not a workable mix in the ME. Israel's previous PM's have also made that clear, the most obvious Iraq 1981, but now it would appear the lamb Olmert might have a little more lion in him than I thought, and that's a good thing.
The threat to Israel can never be properly interrupted by people outside of that country. The truth is one nuclear weapon can destroy Israel forever, and Israel will simply never allow Arab states to go nuclear.
