And that will only work if the PLAAF and the PLANAF sends out their best and they will lose their equal share of their best which leaves a whole bunch of jalopies that have not even left the sight of land.

Possibly not but then, the Mainland Chinese would also have nothing to fly over the skies of Taiwan.
