once at a shooting range i met a retired nyc cop, he used to live 5-6 blocks from where i live, and used to go to shcool that is right by my house, lincoln high, he told me back in his days, he used to bring his rifle in school and lock it in the locker, it was normal back than, and nobody thought of it as something wrong. now even talk about guns will get you in trobble, also lately gun magasines are gone from 90% of places that used to sell them, in this city it is even getting harder to get magazines, not to mention 3 of 4 gun stores i know of are gone. we blame guns for everything, while real reasons stay unadressed
