The Chinese threatening to attack a province that is still internationally recognized as their terrority, if the province declares itself independent. Is a bit different from a sovereign nation threatening to attack another sovereign nation because the nation might have nuclear weapons. Especially since the United States and France, have no room to be talking about other nation's nukes.
