PROOF you needed for some fanciful CIA/Al-Qaeda connection was 2 sentences written in the Guardian Unlimited. Pity they didn't mention Azzam. Pity they didn't mention how Azzam was murdered by Bin Laden. Pity they don't mention Al-Qaeda didn't exist until AFTER Azzam's murder. Pity they left out how Bin Laden used his own money to finance Azzam and later Al-Qaeda.
