speaking of presidential choices, last night I posted Broder's column from yesterday's Wash Post reporting on about a chat he had with Thompson; either the piece drew ho hums or folks missed it.
Maybe I am behind the curve, but it seems to me that this is a bit out of the norm. If Thompson plays it his way, we'll have a candidate willing to risk it all on speaking his mind and not shaping his message to satisfy the polls. Anyone willing to take on Soc Security has guts
