Greece and Turkey
I know there have been several of these, but I'd like one that looks just at the numbers and facts, not nationalism.
Don't post if you have a beef with another country, please.
Simply put, Turkey and Greece will most likely never fight another war (at least for a long time). But if they did, Greece would get help.
So, look at the facts, military sizes, economies, budgets, and people, and answer this:
Could Turkey (on its own) defeat a simultaneous war with Greece, Armenia, Syria, and a full-scale Kurdish uprising? Keep in mind that the Kurds are 20 million of the 70 million people in Turkey.
No other nations involved, no other groups involved. This is a simple test of numbers and skill.
