And modern air defense destroyers are necessary. While there may not be an immediate threat, who knows what lies down the road. Another attack on the Falklands (however unlikely) would make T45 indispensable, while as far as we know we could be in WW3 in 15 years against an enemy with a very powerful air threat. If such an eventuality where to occur, you would be stating how stupid the RN where for NOT getting these ships
