alas all the services will get something, but not everything they need let alone want. Type 45 is already handicapped by the governments refusal to pay for anything other than air defence weapons, making it effectively useless in the short term, while the class will only have half as many ships as it is replacing! By the time the whole class is in service, we will have 23 escorts, and thats assuming that all T22 and T23 ships remain in service which in itself would be a miracle!
