I know it is an exercise conducted among five countries, the so call “Shanghai Fives”. But it is truly a demonstration of the cooperation between Russian and China.

There are several interesting points that I think we should pay a close attention to. First, the long range troop maneuver that China has to conduct. Second, the performance of China’s new fighter jet. Third, the fighting capability of the Chinese infantry soldier.

Personally, I am very interested to see if China has made any improvements in its way of training its soldier. During the past exercises, the performance of the Chinese soldier was questionable. Is anyone here could confirm the report that during the last Russian-China exercise, Chinese airborne troop made a combat jump without their equipments?
