Who in the Arab world is comfortable with a nuclear-armed Iran? What moneys are changing hands? Besides maybe Lebanon and/or Syria, whose interests could possibly coincide with Iran's? Please elaborate.

The administration has stated over and over that an immediate withdrawal by coalition forces from Iraq would not only leave country at the mercy of Iraqi militias, but the power vacuum left behind would draw in regional powers, possibly starting a regional war. Thus, its understandable that we've recently begun, after cold-shouldering Iran since the overthrow of our buddy-Shah, high-level meetings with regard to Iran, to go along with talking to the Syrians, Turks, and others in the region.
