We're not buying them now that's for sure, we've already put this much money into the JSF/Super Hornet combo, and simply put, unless you got a LOT of export orders, then the Raptor is going to be too expensive for us to even buy one squadron without sapping money out of other areas. All this is irrelevant anyway, since even with the planes we have now, Australia is totally unchallenged by anyone else in the SE Asia/Pacific Islands area, except for the US Armed Forces.
