The casette autoloader
is the 'old style autoloader'. The T-72 uses what's called a casette autoloader, while the T-80 uses a korzina autoloader (although it has the same casette around the turret ring). The T-80UM2 turret had a rear bustle which allowed the ammunition to be stored in the bustle in disposable cartridges.
