That point about airshows is pretty funny, to me. They had a F-117 at the Miramar Airshow in September 2006. It's open on Fridays, but nobody goes on Friday (they all go Saturday), and so I went on Friday and nobody said anything when I walked right up to the F-117. I didn't take any engine shots thought, and I couldn't as my camera wasn't powerful enough when they brought the F-117 out to fly. Beyond that, Marines were yelling at us to turn our cameras off.
Unfortunately, the site I had all these pictures died... and they are all on my other computer, which I don't have access to, and probably won't have access to for another 2 and a half years. I'll see if I can get those pictures before I leave for BCT and put them on a flash drive.
