Ok its good that you changed your attitude about the ethnic origin of palestenians. Now what holy war are you talking about. Is it a holy war between "Muslims and Christians" vs "Jews and Druze" ? Because again Israel is not 100% jewish neither is its army, and the the palestenian's houses that are being bulldozed to be replaced with walls and Israeli settlements are not only muslim, but are also christian. I personally know alot of Christian Palestenians, and you cannot deny their existance. Not all Jews are for Israel, and not all Israelis are Jews. Just like not all Arabs are Muslims, and not all Muslims are Arabs.
Oh in case you meant holy war in case of "Jihad". Let me tell you the true meaning of Jihad as I am a Muslim myself. Jihad means struggle against evil. Major Jihad is to better one's personality, character and improve one's manners. Minor Jihad is what the media likes to call a "terrorist war". One is not allowed to wage war unless its one's enemy who starts the conflict and there is no other solution possible. There are also rules for this war. You cannot destroy any building which is used to worship God, and that includes a Synagogue. Contrast this with the Churches and Mosques which the IDF destroyed in Betlehem, a town with a Christian majority.

I would just like to make it clear that the hostage takings in Iraq are against Islam. You cannot even kill unarmed soldiers and you should treat captives with respect according to the Quran. They are just trying to get political objectives through unIslamic ways. And again people should realise that the followers of a religion does not necessarily reflect the religion.
