I am really surprised by the current hostility (though mainly undercover) between the two ancient civilizations. They have had no history of animosity throughout their long history and have much in common including the buddhist legacy.
Not sure why China is trying to contain India through encirclement and propping up dangerous regimes in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar etc.
