the only point of posting the photo would be the possibility of someone dating the photo based on the officers and enlisted mens uniforms. i know the uniforms did not change much over the years but it was a shot in the dark. the photo had to be taken between 1903 and 1919. in 1923 my great uncle left active service as a chief boatswains mate so i believe the photo was in his early career which might date the photo around 1906? just looking for someone who knows a lot more about the old navy than i do.
