I did say IF the Tories get in they would have to spend serious money to reverse our military condition. Obviously it isn't going to happen overnight, and it depends what state the nations finances might be in. (Doesn't bear thinking about, does it?).
Incidentally, Sir John Nott is my near neighbour!
