Glynn - do you genuinely think the Tories will reverse this? No chance. They will stick to Labour budgets for at least the first 2-3 years. Besides, look at the figures closely. De-comms only truly escalate from after 2001 - i.e not planned for. I don't believe the Tory's would have acted differently - there are few votes in defense these days.

Besides, I seem to be the only UK poster that remembers the Nott Report....
