I hear ya, Banff is prolly one of the best places to visit, but it wouldnt be the top choice to live, unless you are some adventure freak. I mean in winter, pretty much the whole town is hosed down with snow and ice.
OTOH Vancouver is much more pleasant with some job opportunities.
