I think you are underestimating how badly the LTTE has wrecked the Tamil Cause in Sri Lanka. Child bombers, terrorist/suicide bombing tactics etc. etc. You have become the villains while anybody who known anything knows that the Lankans did the worst acts yet have escaped blame.
