And I have to agree with M21, everyone in uniform, and that means abosutely everyone, no matter what your supposed position is, or your age or gender, must be prepared to be sent into dismounted ground combat if need be, and thus they should be trained accordingly. If you have any illusions that this shouldn't be the case, then you don't have to put the uniform on.
