Cleaned anything we could (floors, etc) with bleach...including the cement walkway outside where he had walked. Parvo is a very hearty virus. Older dogs can get it, but can usually get through it. Puppies are not as strong and will usually die from it. I would think your vet could get the vaccine for it. If not, it is most like available online. I know we can purchase it online here from Canada but to buy it from within the US one has to be a Vet.

I told my dad what you've written here....and he dropped plans for getting a couple of puppies next week. We've decided to wait for atleast a month. But for this Parvo I could have hosted Hammer's
Rommel in my place for a fortnight.
In the meantime, while my dogs have been dying one after another my friends dog has been putting on weight like anything.
Meet Bruney.
He's only 6-9 months old and weights only a few grams more than 30 kilos. (66 pounds) We've suggested that he take his dog for long walks or buy him a treadmill.
