Since its hypothetical, couple pre emptive surface blasts above thier facilities and a barrage of CM's/bunker busters on their air bases, would prevent them from nuking the beach head.

Hopefully, the Chinese never taught them salvo BM launches, thats another trouble.

Think more about it, if they nuke Karachi themselves, war would be already over. Karachi is the life line for Pakistan with a population of about 14 million innocent souls. Another one is Gwadar, its being hush hushed that PLAN wants to have a toe hold there.

I'm not sure Pakistani military (or any Army for that matter) has the guts to do it.
