Are we talking about the same China? The China that has at various times in the past 50 years or so claimed territory throughout the South Pacific, Indian Ocean, Russia, India, and as far away as Alaska? The China that threatens Taiwan, annexed Tibet, sent troops into India 2 or 3 times, fought wars with virtually all it's neighbors, is causing unrest in Nepal, and supplied missiles to North Korea and Pakistan? You know, that big communist country in Asia with expansionist goals and dreams of empire?

Nice to know you think Europe needs to keep the US in check. Who was it again that stood by in defense of Western Europe, South Korea, and Japan for the last 50 years?
