Now this all rests on who has bigger balls.
Israel wants to bomb Hizbollah into giving them thier guys back, Hizbollah want to theraten Israel with fullscale war by bombing thier cities, either way i don't see Israel gaining anything. They jumped the gun this time.
Think about it like this, Israel is responsible for a state, Hizbolah is responsible for...umm....hizbollah. Now Israel continues to bomb, Hizbollah continues to fire rockets, etiher side gain anything, te blockade might actaully promt Hizbollah to get worse and worse and bomb more and more to prompt Israel towards war.
Now If Israel goes to war they move in, they get stuck in Lebanon for a while, something they don't want and something that will cost lives and will ensure Hizbollah god like status amongst the lebanese as thier own ***** governemtn won't do or say anything good nor bad. Also Hizbollah could kill the soldiers making Israel look really dumb as mentioned by someone else.
They only way out I see, diplomacy. Someone has to intervene, demaned Lebanon "restrain" Hizbollah and take control of it's own state and agree some sort of prisoner swap with Israel and Lebanon. That leaves the Hamas issue, again same situation, what do hamas care how amny people you kill, more posters of martyrs to print and circulate to consolidate power.
