It seems like our ships are named after places or people. Not a lot of "cool" names like the ones in the Royal Navy.
Yeah - definate shortage of "cool" USN names... I always wondered if we shouldnt name SSBNs more appropriately...

HMS Satan
HMS Destroying Angel
HMS Armageddon
HMS Ragnarok etc...
