What could cloud your vision? One side's primary targets are terrorists and terrorist leaders, the other side's targets are civilians, for some groups the younger the better. Just like Spain, how many of the victims of the terrorists supported their participation in Iraq? The terrorists still targeted them on purpose. Seems pretty black to me, no clouds in the sky.
