Gents,
We are arguing over a silly issue. The thread was about bidding farewell by the IAF to its spy planes. Till the comparision started with the SR-71. IMO, both planes MiG-25 and SR-71 were excellent spy planes. The Mig-25 was the poor mans SR-71, and it worked well till some AFs decided to use them as fighters, thats when its record got tarnished. The Mig-25 recce flights for IAF have been very successful and we are grateful for the service the plane rendered us.
