Jeremiah Wright's destructive lunge at Obama

Hoor, Hoor, Traps! (Hear, hear!) When I read of Wright's remarks, the thought that came to mind was of Palestinian, Israeli and Iraqi radicals deliberately sabotaging real opportunities for peace by some horrifically destructive act. Possibly, the idea of an African-American president of the US doesn't suit the man's agenda?

Well said Traps. I've taken the liberty of posting it in full on another thread, if you object or I've broken your copyright rules please let me know and I'll remove it.
What if McCain believed in this...?

Moreover, it was Obama’s James Bond moment. Stirred, but not shaken, he took on all comers and did not abandon Wright.

He displayed incredible resolve and strength of character from a great president in the making.
I see it as the exact opposite. It was a moment of weakness, followed by a moment of stupidity when he brought up his grandma.

The day a Black ( hopefully a PC word since I an out of my depths with the daily churning of PC words) American with a Moslem middle name becomes a President, it will shut the world up and give no room for US baiting or the slavery issue that is so quickly bandied!

I really don't think he would win the general election, but i was wrong also about him even being a serious contender in his own party. People are talking about a "sweet-ticket" with clinton as his vice? what is going on here!

Oh Sir,
i do not think the ranting will ever stop IMO

I always thought Obama could win the nomination. I have doubts about his appeal in general election though. About 1/3 of Clinton supporters have already said they would vote for McCain over Obama. What I'm afraid of is Clinton being VP. Not that she would do anything or Obama being better or worse than before, but the fact that this just might put Obama in the White House.

President Obama...I shudder to think the extra tax I need to pay for his social programs.

Oh...and yeah...the world won't stop the complain.
