(July 28, 2006)Hillary Clinton, McCain Held Vodka-Drinking Contest Free Republic ^ | 07/28/2006 | Drudge Posted on 14. veebruar 2008. a. 0:12:45 by Responsibility2nd On a congressional trip to Estonia, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton astonished her traveling companions by suggesting the group do what one does in the Baltics: hold a vodka-drinking contest! Delighted, the leader of the overseas delegation, Sen. John McCain, quickly agreed, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Saturday. The after-dinner game went so well -- memories are a bit hazy on who drank how much -- that McCain later told people how unexpectedly fun he found Clinton to be. TIMES reporter Anne Kornblut has filed a story on the curious relationship between Hillary and John McCain. "One of the guys," is the way McCain describes her. I would need about 10 bottles first just to get over what she looks like to have one sip of booze with her.

it depends entirely on the quality of the whiskey. Personally, I believe that anyone who just chugs a single malt scotch should be dragged out into the street and shot in the back of the head. Anything less than a single malt and I don't blame her for taking a few goes at it..

In the lady's defence, fine whiskys are more for sipping than "shooting" as it were. Why there aren't more injuries reported from that neck jerking motion escapes me.
Being a devotee of fine Kentucky Straight Bourbons I would be disappointed in her choice of a foreign blended chemical brand if the above 'crown royal' report is correct.
