As you can see, that map isn't much different than mine, except I have more "too close to calls". They're off in Minnesota. A Rasmussen tracking poll from 3/19 has Obama +4, but they're citing a SurveryUSA poll from 3/16 that has McCain +1. RealClearPolitics - Election 2008 - Minnesota: McCain vs. Obama

Oregon, New Mexico to Obama. Like I've said before, I think Obama has taken a hit in polls in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey (states with large white-working class populations) because of the whole Reverend Wright controversy. I think the next polls that come out from New Jersey will put it in the McCain column for the time being, with the recent Italian slurs of Wright (NJ is 20% Italian).

Well it doesn't get easier for Obama since Hillary is staying in the race. Another two months of him being hammered on this stuff, and McCain may make his lead insurmountable. With NJ and MI; another 32 electoral votes McCain has a lot of breathing room in case he falters somewhere else.

Obama's "bitter" gaffe on religion and guns
There are some things one doesn't mentiion in political campaigns, they're kins to the third rail of social security.....1) religion and 2) guns. Unfortunately Obama mentioned small towns, bitter, and both of the above in the same sentence.
Revealing his elite status or ism, Ms Clinton will probably win the key state of Pennsylvania, full of small towns, and Indiana, and possibly North Carolina. While the vote will be close, and her delegate count won't overcome Obama's, this gaffe will hurt with the all important Super Delegates. And with the potential seatings of the delegates from Michigan and Florida in the air, big states by the way, the upcoming Brokered Convention could swing to Ms. Clinton. Its not over until its over. I don't think the Democrats can ignore leaving the blue collar voters and the unions to the Republicans. Liberal elites won't win the United States of America. And there aren't any more powerful PAC who can afford millions of TV commercials than the gun lobby...... I can see Charleston Heston rise from the dead with his ARA TV ad.

WTF? Nevada? I had hoped to move there one day to enjoy "clinging" to guns. I've lost my faith in Nevadans...

Very effective projection. I look forward to colouring in the map with my children on election night.
I am presently forecasting NH, OH & NM for McCain, by the way.
