From what I've gathered, it seems the rest of the Republican field are tag-teaming against Romney. Huckabee, Thompson, McCain, and Giuliani trying to beat each other, but when they can't, tag-teaming to sink Romney. I think this is the greatest factor why McCain is leading widely. If it wasn't for this cooperation early on, things may be much different.

To their credit this one of the few articles about mitt Romney that doesn't feel the need to remind he's Mormon at least five times. Since most of us have likely forgotten that fact since the last fifty times we were told.

I said to one of my friends something alone these lines:
"Mitt Romney comes off as the guy who's too slick, too perfect and too good looking. When he talks to you, you can't put your fingers on what exactly is wrong but you just don't like him and really don't trust him. For that reason alone he's unelectable." And he replied: "But he's Mormon. Isn't that his job?" He was referring to the being too slick and too good looking part. LOL! Last edited by citanon : 02-05-2008 at 20:08 PM. |
