sorry to nitpick you on this one, bro, but extralegal is a real word: "not regulated or sanctioned by law."

however, it is often used as an euphemism for illegal, because there's the implication in extralegal that it totters on the gray area where things are not QUITE outlawed, but...

okay, /interruption, let the debate continue

it means not regulated or sanctioned by law . Useing extralegal to represent illegal imigrants is changing the definition. A true example of extralegal would be money changers who have savings in one country and transfer funds to someone in the US by depositing it into thier account(without really exchanging money)the person in the US just takes it from there own savings, minus a fee, people can send money back and forth without any true record of it happening. There is no law or government body that regulates it, (for now) this would make it "extra" legal.

There is a government body that regulates imigration, several actualy. So by claiming illegals are "extra"legal they a making an existing word fit thier definition, they are making up a word to fit thier context. Albeit they have been using it for awhile.

Here's a piece of trivia I'm sure few of you knew.

Mike Huckabee's wife's maiden name is Janet McCain.
