Democratic Poll

The same as the Republican poll, but for Democratic candidates. What Democratic candidate do you most strongly favor to be elected to the office of the Presidency in November 2008, and why? Which candidate(s) are you least likely to support, and why? Non-Democrats are welcome to vote (i.e. which candidate would you vote for you if were to vote Democrat?)

The candidates:
  • Joe Biden
  • Hillary Clinton
  • Chris Dodd
  • John Edwards
  • Mike Gravel
  • Dennis Kucinich
  • Barack Obama
  • Bill Richardson

Dennis the Menace for me!

But then again, I'm a Libertarian that votes Republican. And I cannot even IMAGINE what kind of Martian this lunatic would pick as his running mate, but I do know two things:

1) He wouldn't last three months before he was impeached, out of simple desperation by the country to save itself from complete and utter ruination at the hands of the craziest 'mainstream' Democrat in a really BAD line-up, and

2) After flirting with Disaster Dennis, we would have an unbroken string of Republican Presidents for a hundred years, and Congress would be down to around a hundred Democrats TOTAL for both Houses, as the reverse coat-tail effect would do more to secure the country than a reincarnation of Reagan.

Run, Dennis, Run!

I like Richardson. Pretty strong supporter of the 2A, which is my litmus test for politicians. I can't trust someone who doesn't trust the law abiding citizenry.

Of course, he hasn't a chance in hell of getting elected.

Unless Hillary totally boots it somehow (and she's so disciplined, that's doubtful), she WILL be the nominee. She'll be coronated at a convention that will have absolutely NO tension, mystery or compelling storyline.

She will then be shellacked in the general election.

I hope.

I will vote for Barack Obama during the primaries just to help a brotha' out.

I don't know who to vote for in general election yet.

I believe the same. I am trusting, however, more in Hillary being UNelectable than one of the Republicans being Electable, and that's not good. I could support any of the Republican frontrunners but I'm not really energized by any of them yet. Hopefully over the next year (holy feck, a whole year of this crap!) things will change.

Wow, I didn't think Joe Biden, Mike Gravel would get votes this early in the polling... Dennis Kucinich, maybe. Who voted for them?

There is a problem with this poll. I would like to see the percentages but there is no voting slot titled "None of the Above."

To hear the women in my neck of the woods talk, your trust in Hillary's demise has legs. But, here's where Billy boy made a smart political move; he
started her campaigning way earlier than usual. I don't know that he actually did that, but if I were campaign manager for a first-time-running woman I'd start her off as early as I could so the voters who might be put off by voting for a woman for president at first blush would get used to her by the time the convention came around.

Question: who does best against her in the general election? A war hero; an actor; a good looking governor; a homestate governor; or a 9/11 hero?

Kucinich, because what America needs is the exact opposite of what it has now: Progressive, liberal, rational, government.

Exactly, although I don't much like him, either.

He's DOA, Hillary Clinton will win their nomination.
