Who would you want for president if you had your choice?

So if you had your choice, who would want for President? Let's keep it to American citizens and someone who is alive.

Thats all fine and dandy Julie but don't you think that someone whos competent enough to run the country should be the primary reason to vote for someone? Race, religion or gender shouldn't even be an issue.

Condi Rice.

I'd vote for her not because she's black or she's a woman, but because she has similar political views as mine.

Well I must admit my bias is with some of the republican candidates but..

1) I'm Canadian so it matters little and..

2) I assume the republican candidates are not on your list of people to vote for.

I could be wrong I suppose. If I could vote, Gulianni would be my pick.

We in the UK will get along with whoever has been chosen. The closest pairing post WW2 was President Ronnie Reagan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

I'd love to see Shwarzenegger as president, but I think he's not born in the U.S.
