For all the talk of us doing the American dirty work, alot of people forget the support that we get from the US. If there is any proof that we need the US more than they need us, it is here.
Our people are being flown to be treated in an American military hospital in Germany, the best in the world bar none. No red tape. No slide remarks about we're so underfunded that we could not treat our own wounded. No looking down from their noses at how us poor Canadians got ourselves hurt without the proper support.
Just get our wounded to them so that they can save the lives of our wounded. I am damned proud to call the Americans our Friends and Allies. While we will walk our talk, it's extremely comforting to know a helping hand is ready when we stumble.
