I really don't know how Russia is going to end up dealing with this. Right now we sided with US but it all might change if Iran doesn't back down. Russia has a lot of investments in Iran for example we are to build a series of nuclear reactors for them, plus the prospects of gaining more political influence in Middle East as well as other projects, including the russo-iranian jet fighter project. Either way Iranian government declines Russian proposal of enriching Uranium for Iran in Russia, then it wants to discuss it, then it declines it again and then it wants to dicuss it again, so a mixed bag, i think the west is overreacting though, Iran is atleast 10 years away from developing a nuke, a better way would be to wait for a couple of years and voice support for the Russian proposal as well as offer Iran trade benefits or something to get them to back down. They (iran) obviously aren't that determined or else they wouldn't discuss anything with Russia
