i hope professor sewell realizes that LIFE ITSELF is a violation of that "supreme law of nature", the second law of thermodynamics. in that case, why bother with "intelligent design"? heck- cuz it's an impossibility let's just bust out creationism in its full glory, instead of this pseudo-scientific crap.
his thinking is amazingly flawed. the reason why life can go on (and evolution can go on) in the face of thermodynamics is because organisms expend a vast amount of energy (from basic block of sunlight energy) building those complex structures that make replicating/adapting possible. his argument against this is that we don't see atoms arranging themselves into TVs or computer sets. however, we DO see atoms arranging themselves in certain molecular designs, and these molecular designs arranging themselves into certain amino acid designs, and these amino acid designs arranging themselves into basic proteins! there is stability in them chemical bonds.

he needs a serious lesson in chemistry, biology, AND biochemistry. what a laugh.
if prof. sewell ever got sick with a resistant organism, i wonder if he will ask doctors to give him the original "noah's-ark" drug- or the new drug made to kill the EVOLVED organism.
