Never say that to a Greek person, since they despise the Turks. The Greek culture has changed considerably since its classical roots, but it is more influenced by Orthodox Christianity than any Turkish import.
Greece has been independent since 1830 and it has had a long time to shake off its hated Ottoman cultural edifices.
Damn the Turks to hell.
