Lets start with Peter Kalicow and the other officials at the MTA for trying to keep the billion dollar surplus all to themselves. Lets say this again. BILLION DOLLAR SURPLUS. That money will not be used for cheaper commuter rates. The MTA is looking at huge bonuses and inflated saleries for themselves. The Union simply is after a piece of the pie.
