We used to be able to say that if we or somebody figgered something out, that we or they had "two-oh-two'ed it". Sounded cool. But "I 1N4'ed it"? So, I two-oh-two'ed
Raptor's stupid little game with his several sock-puppets, and the really very weird objection to his alter ego's 'cussing'.
*Changing the AFSCs was another stupid idea from General Merrill McPeak, the worst Chief of Staff the Air Force ever had (and a Kerry supporter, interestingly enough). Dumb bastard almost ruined my Air Force, and we're STILL climbing out of the hole he dug for us:
1) farting around with the uniforms (even when he KNEW we all hated what he did with the blue service dress, he ordered another expensive survey done, with the order to come back with the RIGHT answer the next time
, and that doesn't even address the two consecutive stupid ideas he came up with for the Battle Dress Uniform
, and outlawing the crew-necked t-shirt with open-collared blue shirts, for God knows what reason

2) changed Regulations to Instructions for absolutely no reason that can be divined by a rational mind, and jacked up the easy-to-remember numbering system (the uniform reg used to be AF 35-10, now it's something else that I don't even care to try to remember
)
3) came up with the stupid idea of the 'composite wing' that didn't even make it through the extremely expensive conversion period, before his tenure mercifully ended, and sanity was restored.
I could go on, but nobody here is interested in THIS rant. Sorry. Kind of went off, there...
