First of all for 40 jets Greece will have to fork out 3.1 billion US$. Just do the maths for 126 jets, sheer waste of time, money & effort  .

1. India cannot and doesnot intend to buy all the 126 planes produced in US.A Local production will cust the cost considerably.
2. I dont mind delaying our acquisition for the sake of US aircrafts. As the later we decide the better change LCA has to prove its effectiveness and defunct the whole purchase of MRCA
