Which is why a strong Pakistani economy is in the interest of India.
If trade wasopen to India, there would be around 240B USD of trade after 4 years, this would transform the Pakistani economy but they are too busy living in the middle ages and tryuing to get Kashmir rather than to reduce poverty levels. Heck Kashmir could become a borderless point where free trade could occur, I think that the Kashmiris would not mind becoming the richest people in the sub continent overnight.
