Poverty eradication can be done in many different ways, they could perhaps build more schools, improve medical facilities and create better unemplyment benefits.
You just proved my point. What you are discribing is "handing out" money. Tell me why should a productive worker be penilized for being productive and an unproductive worker be rewarded for being unproductive. This would not get rid of poverty.

As far as I know, the relationship between India and China are better off than they are with Pakistan. For example the last war they had with China was in 1962, while the last few wars they had with Pakistan were after that.
It's been decades since we have sold them military technology. We havn't even given them their F-16's they bought.

I would hardly consider the United States as supplying Pakistan.
