MM.Singh clearly pointed out how the British robbed us.
The British Colonial rule caused so much deaths and misery in the sub-continent.He did not deny that.But he also pointed out that certain British institutions have stayed back with us and as time passed helped us immensely in our nation building process.English , as a language is one good example.
It was generous of Man Mohan Singh to have pointed that out too.He is a great scholar and knows perhaps a hundred times better than people who do not even know to grasp his speech in 'totality'.
